Index Web users can now create and manage their appointment types via Index Web (or mobile). This article outlines what actions can be taken via the Web in regard to the Appointments feature.
Index mobile instructions: create, copy, view, or delete.
To access the Appointments section for Web, please first log into Index Web and click the "Appointments" tab seen at the top of the page (as picctured below).
In regards to Appointments, the following actions can be taken via Index Web (instructions seen below).
- Create a new appointment type.
- View, Edit or Delete an existing appointment type.
- Change or Edit your business name.
- View your Appointment link.

FYI:
- Any changes made to your Appointments while using Web will automatically sync to the mobile app.

Creating a new appointment type
If you want to create a new appointment type that you offer to your clients, follow these steps:
- Log into Index Web.
- At the top of the page, select the "Appointments" tab.
- Tap the + Add Scheduling Page.
- After following the steps above, view this article to continue with step-by-step instructions for the appointment creation process.
Editing an existing appointment type
- Log into Index Web.
- At the top of the page, select the "Appointments" tab.
- Locate the Appointment you want and select
- After following the steps above, view this article to understand what changes can be made to your appointment.
Deleting an appointment type
To delete an appointment that you no longer want to offer your clients:
- Log into Index Web.
- At the top of the page, select the "Appointments" tab.
- Locate the Appointment you want to delete and select
- On the configure appointment types page, select
- To confirm your selection, select "Ok".
Note: Any appointments that have already been booked will NOT be canceled, but the appointment will no longer be offered as a selection on your calendar. Also, any of those existing appointments cannot be rescheduled after deletion.
Changing your business name
To change or update your business name:
- Log into Index Web.
- At the top of the page, select the "Appointments" tab.
- On the top-right corner of the page, you'll see your name along with your unique Appointments booking link.
- Tap it to edit the name and tap outside of the box to automatically save changes to the name.
View your appointment link
You have a couple options to view your business calendar:
1. Under the Appointments tab: Locate the appointment & click to view your business calendar (and what your client would see when booking an appointment with you).
2. Click the blue "business link" under your business name at the top-right of the page to view your calendar availability and book an appointment on behalf of the client. (Example seen below.)
