Use this article as a troubleshooting guide for issues with creating an Appointment.
Issue Symptoms
- You are creating an Appointment in Index.
- You receive an error stating "An error occurred while attempting to fetch an available slug" (pictured below) when you select the "Create" button.
- You are unable to create the Appointment.
Conditions
- Creating an Appointment in the mobile app or Index Web.
- Attempting to save the Appointment without a title/name.
- seen on the first screen when creating an Appointment.
Cause & Resolution
If a name is not given to the Appointment, the system will not allow you to move forward with creating the Appointment.
Steps to resolve:
To resolve this issue, tap the back arrow until you see the "What should new events be named" field, (pictured below), enter a name for the Appointment, then proceed to create the Appointment again.
