There are times when your customer may call you from a new phone number that you have yet to save in your Index Contacts (mobile, work, home number, etc).
Please view the information below on how to add a new number to an existing Index contact.

To save from the conversation screen in your inbox:
- View your Index inbox, locate & open the 1:1 conversation that contains the new phone number you wish to save.
- Tap the to open the Contact Panel.
- Tap "ADD NAME" to create a new contact.
- Click Done.
You should now see the Contact name in the conversation and you will see the second number under your Contact in the address book as well.
Tip: If you want to save the number as a NEW contact, follow the steps above but select 'Create New Contact'

- Tap SAVE.

Tip: If you want to save the number as a NEW contact, follow the steps above but select 'Add contact' from the drop-down menu.
