There are times when your customer may call you from a new phone number that you have yet to save in your Index Contacts (mobile, work, home number, etc).
Please view the information below on how to add a new number to an existing contact.

To save from the conversation screen in your inbox:
- View your Index Inbox and locate the conversation that contains the new phone number you wish to save.
- Tap the Address Book icon with the +, then select Add to Existing Contact.
- Search the name in the sear bar or Scroll to find the contact name.
- Click Done.
You should now see the Contact name in the conversation and you will see the second number under your Contact in the address book as well.
Tip: If you want to save the number as a NEW contact, follow the steps above but select 'Create New Contact'

- Tap the three vertical dots, then from the menu, select Add to existing
- Search the name in the sear bar or Scroll to find the contact name
- Tap Save.
You should now see the Contact name in the conversation and you will see the second number under your Contact in the address book as well.
Tip: If you want to save the number as a NEW contact, follow the steps above but select 'Add contact' from the drop-down menu.
