How to add a contact photo

Whether you have an iOS or Android device, you'll be able to add a photo to your Index contact. See below for instructions. 

iOS

To add a photo to an existing iOS contact:

1. Click on the address book icon. 
2. Find the contact you wish to add a photo to. 
3. Click Edit on the top right portion of the contact details.
4. Click Add Photo to the left of the contact name.
5. Choose one: 
   • Photos = choose a photo from your camera roll.
   • Camera = take a new photo (ensure Index has access to your camera > press "OK").
6. Choose the photo you would like from your camera roll or take the photo > tap Use Photo.
7. When the photo has been uploaded, tap Done.

To change/delete an existing contact photo:

Tap Edit on the contact screen > Edit (under the current photo) > Choose photos, camera, or delete > follow the prompts. 

Android

To add a photo to an existing Android contact:

1. Click on the address book icon. 
2. Find the contact you wish to add a photo to. 
3. Click the pencil icon on the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
4. Click Add Photo which will give you two options:
   1. Choose Photo = choose a photo from your camera roll.
   2. Take Photo = take a new photo (ensure Index has access to your camera).
5. Choose the photo you would like from your camera roll or take the photo.
6. When the photo has been uploaded, tap Save. 

To change/delete an existing contact photo:

1. Tap the pencil icon.
2. Tap Edit Photo on the contact screen.
3. Choose 'Choose Photo', 'Take Photos', or 'Delete Photo' and follow the prompts.
