If you're having trouble creating or saving an appointment and/or are receiving an error at any point during the creation process, please read the information below.
Issue Symptoms
- Receiving an error when trying to create a new appointment after selecting "Create."
- The error may be seen on the "Configure appointment types" screen (as pictured below).
Cause & Resolution
The likely cause you're receiving this error is due to not having any text saved in the "event name" field seen on the previous screen.
The event name field is required and cannot be left blank. Please return to the previous screen and enter a name for the "Event" or appointment type that will be seen by clients when they book an appointment.
In the example below, the event name is "Manicure (30 mins)." By naming the appointment type you offer, clients what service they are booking with you, which minimizes any confusion when booking an appointment. The first screen is the calendar that clients will see, and the second shows the event name in bold in your Appointments editing screen.
