Index Web Login Page: https://app.getindex.com/login
Index subscribers now have the ability to manage their contact tags via Index Web or the mobile app. This is helpful if you use Index Web and like to manage your contact list via the Web platform.
Tip: If you are an Index iOS subscriber, you can also create Broadcast Lists using tags. More information can be found here.
Adding a tag via Index Web
Important: The ability to add tags to contacts that have more than one number saved is not supported at this time, but is coming soon.
- While logged into Index Web, select the Contacts tab (located on the header) to view your contacts list.
- Locate and select the contact you'd like to add a tag(s) to.
- On the contact details pop-up screen (far-right), select the button.
- Add the tag(s) to the contact:
- Existing tags will be displayed in a drop-down list once you start typing so you can easily select them.
- New tags can be created via Web. Simply type in the tag then press enter to add and save to your tag list.
Tags that are added successfully will display in gray below the Contact name.
Items to note:
- A limit of 20 tags can be saved to one contact at a time.
- Tags can only consist of letters, numbers, or spaces.
- Tags are not case-sensitive.
- Contacts with multiple numbers cannot include tags. On the contrary, if a contact has tags, additional numbers cannot be added at this time.
Deleting a tag via Index Web
