Index Web users now have the opportunity to create and manage Index contacts via Web. We've added a Contact tab (next to the Inbox tab) to help keep your contact details up-to-date and organized.

Contact Details Screen
In the Contact Details Panel, you have the following options:
- Phone (can add additional phone numbers)
- Email (can add additional email addresses)
- Company
- URL (i.e. business website/link)
- Address
- Notes (where you store details for a customer)
FYI: You can add labels to certain contact details (options - Mobile, Home, Work, Other)
If you hover over certain details in the Contact Details Screen, you can:
- Edit (pencil icon)
- Favorite a contact (start icon)
- Start a conversation (message bubble icon)
- Delete (trash can icon)
Creating a new Contact via Web
To add a new contact to Index Web:
- While logged into Index Web, select the Contacts tab to view your contacts list.
- On the top-right, click the Add button.
- Add in the contact details.
- Click SAVE.
Edit a Contact via Web
- While logged into Index Web, select the Contacts tab to view your contacts list.
- Locate the Contact you wish to edit and click to open the Contact Details screen.
- Tip: Use the search bar to filter contacts by name, tag, or phone number.
- With the contact details panel opened, hover over the information you wish to edit and click the Edit (pencil icon) button.
- Make the edits.
- Tap SAVE once finished.
In addition to editing, from the Contact Details Panel you can also:
- Favorite a contact (start icon)
- Start a conversation (message bubble icon)
Deleting a Contact via Web
Follow the steps above to locate the contact and pull up the Contact Details Panel, then click the trash can icon to delete a contact.
