How to Transfer Team Admin

If you have a Team Sharing account, you can transfer the Admin role through the app.

Note: The new Admin will need to subscribe to Index before making the transfer (or you'll receive a pop-up alert if you try to follow the steps below before signing up for a new subscription).

NEW Admin: 

1. Sign up for a new Index subscription before you transfer Admin responsibility. 
2. View your Device's Settings.
3. Tap Subscription. 
4. Locate Index, then select the subscription length you wish to sign up for. 
5. Follow the app store prompts to subscribe to Index. 

Note: If you receive an error during sign-up, Contact Support. 

CURRENT Admin. 

After the new Admin subscribes to Index, the current Admin will need to: 

1. View their Index Settings. 
2. Tap "Team Sharing" to open up your Team's list of members. 
3. Tap the three dots next to the NEW Admin to open the settings menu.
4. Tap "Assign as Admin" 
5. Confirm your selection on the "Are you sure?" screen by tapping "Transfer Admin."

FYI: You should cancel your subscription at this time since the new Admin has taken responsibility for the new subscription. If you do not cancel your subscription you may face duplicate charges.
