Index subscribers can easily send review requests to help build their online reputation and attract new customers via Index's "Reviews" feature.

How to link your business & create a review request:
Initial Steps
- Open Index mobile Settings.
- Under Tools, select Reviews. (you should see a "Set Up" button.)
- Enter the reviews message. (What text you'd like to include with your review link.)
- A 'More reviews, more business' screen will pop up; tap the Continue button.
- From there, you can add up to three business review links (One for your 'Google My Business' link, and two additional non-Google links (such as Facebook, Thumbtack, etc).
Follow the steps below to link your Google My Business listing. If you want to link a non-Google review link, please locate your unique URL, copy it, and paste it into the text field in the Reviews setup screen.
Locating your Google Review link
If you don't have the precise Google My Business link handy, you can locate it by following the steps below.
- Tap the "Add Google Review Link."
- At the 'Allow Index to access your location screen, make one of the following selections:
- 'Only while Using the App' or 'Allow Once' (if you don't see this prompt, disregard it and proceed to the next step.)
- On the Look Up My Business screen, type in your business name as it appears on Google to search.
- If your search does not return results: Double-check that your Google My Business account is set up and includes a business address. If an address is not listed, you will be unable to locate and link your business.
- Tap on your business to select it. Your business should automatically populate your Google My Business unique URL. (To confirm, you will see an https://search.google.com followed by your unique URL)
- Tap Save when you've finished adding your review link(s).
How to send a review request:
Now that you've linked your business to the Reviews feature, you can send that link to your customers asking for a review. Here's how:
From within an existing conversation:
- Tap the located under the text field to insert your Review Request Template.
- Tap the Send arrow to send your review request.
From the new message screen:
- Enter the contact name or number into the To: field
- Tap the located under the text field to insert your Review Request Template.
- Tap the Send arrow to send your review request.
Note: You can edit the default Review text "Tell us how we did with a rating or review below" prior to sending your link.
