"Double-Check that Number" Error Message

If you see a red ! next to your message and when clicked, see the "Double-Check That Number. Make sure you entered a valid phone number and try again" error message, that may indicate that the number you are trying to send the message to is: 

• Not on the list of countries that we currently support sending messages to. (List seen below)
• A number that can't receive text messages. (Shortcodes/verification numbers, landlines.)
• An invalid number. 

Note: Index supports text messages (SMS) to numbers with +1 (North America) and + 5 (South America) country codes, and picture/video messages (MMS) with +1 only.
