We understand that Index may not fit everyone's needs, so that is why we have provided instructions below on how to cancel your Index subscription.
Please Note:
- You will lose your Index features after canceling your subscription. However, if you cancel in the middle of your billing cycle, they may remain on your account until your subscription date.
- If you migrated from Sideline to Index at no additional cost (or you had special Sideline pricing), you will LOSE that special pricing when you cancel Index and will be unable to get it back if you decide to re-subscribe at a later date. (you will only be offered the current pricing)
If you want to cancel Index and transition back to Sideline:
If you migrated to Index from Sideline to "try" Index but determined you'd like to resubscribe to Sideline but on a Standard plan (since you don't need the business features) please contact Support if you are receiving an error when attempting to log back into Sideline.

You have a few options when it comes to how you cancel your Index subscription. Please review the information below to determine which method of canceling your subscription works best for you.
To cancel your subscription via Index:
- Open Index on mobile.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Subscription.
- Tap the Manage Subscription button.
- You will then be directed to the Google Play Store Subscription Page.
- From there, follow the instructions to cancel your subscription.
To cancel your subscription via the Google Play Store:
- Open the Google Play Store on your device.
- Tap Menu Subscriptions.
- Tap the subscription you want to cancel.
- Tap Cancel subscription.
- Follow the onscreen instructions.
To cancel your subscription via Web:
- Visit the Google Play Store.
- Sign in with your ID credentials.
- Click on Subscriptions & Services on the left-hand side.
- Your active subscriptions will be listed and you can click Manage to cancel.
Please Note: You will still have access to your Index subscription for the remainder of your billing period.
To request a refund:
- Visit Google's website and follow the instructions on how to request a refund.
- You can also request a refund by reaching out to our support department and providing the following information:
- Copy of your Google Play receipt that shows your subscription purchase
- Order Number for the purchase
- Order Numbers should be in the format: GPA.1234-5678-9123-45678

To cancel your Index subscription on your iPhone, you will have to do so from within the app store. Please see below for further instructions.
To cancel your Index subscription:
- Open your device Settings.
- Tap on your name, then tap Subscriptions.
- Tap the subscription that you want to manage.
- Choose a different subscription or tap Cancel Subscription.
If you don't see "Subscriptions" in the Settings app, follow these steps:

- Tap iTunes & Apple Store instead.
- Tap your Apple ID (which is usually your email address).
- Tap View Apple ID.
- Sign in, scroll down to Subscriptions, then tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Index.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
Please Note: You will still have access to your subscription for the remainder of your billing period.
Refunds
Index Support does not have the authority to process refunds for iOS customers since all purchases are strictly handled & processed by the Apple/iTunes store. Therefore, refund requests for an Index subscription must be handled through Apple.
