Index calls work like any other call you make on your phone. Index uses your minutes and connects your calls through your regular service provider. This means standard calling and messaging fees may apply as Index uses minutes from your Carrier plan.
Long-distance calls:
If you choose a number with an area code that's different from your primary phone number, you may be charged long-distance fees. We recommend you contact your service provider with any questions about calling or messaging costs and what your service plan entails.
Call Forwarding for Index iOS:
Calls to your device's call number will ring, then will be forwarded to your Index voicemail. More info on how call forwarding works with Index.
If you have further questions about using Index for calls, please submit a request.
