Templates allow Index users to quickly send customizable text responses to new or existing customers at any time. With Index Web, you can create, manage, as well as view/send Templates (info below).
To send a Template via Index Web:
- Open the conversation you want to send a message to (or compose a new message).
- Click the
(Template icon) located under the text box. - From there, your current list of Templates will display.
- Select which Template you want to use. The templated message will be automatically added to the text field.
- Customize the message (optional), then click the send arrow.
Please Note:
- You can send multiple Templates in a single message, but only one can be selected at a time.
- If your message contains a large number of characters, the message may not send or be broken out into multiple messages (due to Carrier restrictions on messaging size).
