Creating & Managing Templates on Index Web

Index Web Login Page: https://app.getindex.com/login 

Templates now can be created or managed via Index Web, whereas previously this had to be done via the Index app. For info on how to create/manage Templates via Index mobile, click here.

To create a new Template via Index Web:

1. Locate and click the (Templates icon) in the toolbar under the text box.
2. On the top-left of the Template list, click Create.
3. On the Create Template screen:
   • Enter a title for the Template (required). 
   • Click the +Add My Logo (optional) if you'd like to add a business logo to your Template message. 
   • Type the Templated message in the Write a message section (required).
4. When complete, click Save. 

Character Limits for Templates: 

• Title: Up to 22 characters allowed.
• Message: Up to 525 characters allowed.

To manage an existing Template via Index Web:

1. Locate and click the  (Templates icon) in the toolbar under the text box.
2. On the top-right, click Manage. 
3. From there, you can Edit a Template or Delete it.

To Edit:

1. Select the Template, then click the (pencil icon) to edit. 
2.  Make any updates to the Template. 
3. Click Save.

To Delete:

From the Template List

1. Click the (trash can) icon to the right of the Template.
2. Confirm by selecting the Delete button.

From the Edit Template Screen

1. While in the Edit Template screen, select Delete.
2. Note that there is no confirm button if you go that route and your Template will be automatically deleted.
