You’ll be asked to submit your business information when registering for an Index account. This information is processed by Index and sent directly to The Campaign Registry (TCR) for review.
While your information is being processed, you will not be able to send messages or access Index Web; however, you can place and receive calls and receive texts.

Requirements
We ask for the following business information when registering for an account (this information is then passed to TCR for review):
- Business Type (see below for options)
- Brand or DBA Name
- Address, City, State, Zip Code
- Industry
- Business Website (required for all business types, except Sole Proprietors)
- See below for what your Website should include
- Social Link (Sole Proprietors only - optional)
- See below for what your social media profile should include
Business Types
- Sole Proprietor (these small businesses/individuals do not have an EIN)
- Non-Sole Proprietor
- Private Company
- Publicly Traded Company
- Non-Profit Organization
- Government Entity
Tips on getting approved
To increase your approval chances with the TCR, ensure your business information is accurate and legitimate. The following items often lead to higher rejection rates due to inaccuracies:

Physical Address
- Should be the complete, legitimate street address (can use your home address if you work out of your house)

Website*
- The website should be complete and show an online presence to prove you have an established business.

Social Link* (Sole Proprietors only)
- Social media sites should show that you are an established business with content, followers, reviews, etc.
- Examples: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Yelp)

EIN (Non-Sole Proprietors only)
- Missing or inaccurate EIN (must match your tax return)

You must display this privacy statement clearly:
“No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.”
*For any web form that asks for a phone number:
Include this visible disclaimer near the form (not hidden in a link):
“By providing my contact information to [YOUR BRAND NAME], I acknowledge and give my explicit consent to be contacted via SMS and receive emails for various purposes, which may include marketing and promotional content. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for more information. Refer to our Privacy Policy for more information.”
