If you need to change or verify the email associated with your Index account, you can easily do so via Index mobile or Web.
Via the Index app:
- Log into Index mobile. (If currently logged out.)
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Account.
- Tap your email. If the email is already correct, skip to step 7.
- Delete your old email.
- Input your new email address.
- Tap the "Update" or "Verify" button.
- View your email inbox and open the message from Index. It will contain a verification code.
- Return back to the app and enter the verification code, then tap Continue.
- A blue checkmark next to your email indicates that your new email is now verified.
Note: It is important to verify your new email at this time should you ever forget your password and need help resetting it in the future.
If you are using a Yahoo email address, please be aware that the verification email may be delayed. Please check your inbox periodically, as the link may take some time to arrive.
If you are having trouble changing your email address or need help with verifying your account, submit a request.
