If you need to change the email associated with your Index account, you can easily do so via Index mobile or Web. Below you'll find instructions for both.
Via the Index app:
- Log into Index mobile. (If currently logged out.)
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Account.
- Tap your email.
- Delete your old email.
- Input your new email address.
- Tap the "Update" button.
- View your email inbox and open the message from Index. It will contain a verification code.
- Return back to the app and enter the verification code, then tap Continue.
- A blue checkmark next to your email indicates that your new email is now verified.
Via index Web (desktop):
- Log into Index Web.
- At the top-right corner, click your Index number to open the menu.
- Click Settings.
- Enter your new email.
- Click the "Unverified Re-send email verification" button.
- A pop-up message will display informing you that we just sent a verification email to your new email address.
- Locate the email with the subject line "Verify your email" > open it.
- Tap the Verify My Email button to verify the email for your Index account.
Note: It is important to verify your new email at this time should you ever forget your password and need help resetting it in the future.
