Why does Index need "Full Access" to my contacts?
We recommend giving Index full access to your phone's contacts so that anytime a person who is saved in your phone's address book calls you, their contact name will show on your Index call screen & in your Inbox.
If you limit access to contacts and that specific contact is not shared with Index, it will only display the contact's phone number. That will make it hard to screen the call and know who is trying to reach you.
Granting full access to contacts enhances your experience with Index. We do not share your contact information; it remains private and secure within Index.
How to give full access
If you previously limited access or denied Index permission to contacts, you can update this easily via your phone's Settings. Here's how:
- View your iPhone Settings.
- Scroll down to Apps and open.
- Find the Index app and open.
- Tap on Contacts and update permission to “Full Access”
